October 5

Thurs Oct 5

Block 1, 2, 4, & 5

I was out yesterday (Wednesday) and the substitute left a note that the students struggled with the worksheet on nouns. Therefore, students were given their worksheets back and 10 minutes to change answers after I let them know how many nouns were in each sentence and reminded them what a noun was.

Students were given a Memory Map worksheet to help create a “skeleton of their draft” in sentences. They have been pre-writing in phrases in the book. This is transitioning them to sentences but not worrying about every detail yet.

Homework – Finish your Memory Map if not completed in class.
