**Block 3 ONLY:**

- Today Block 3 students went to the lab to type their final revisions in for their How-To Draw a Monster paper.
- The final of this paper was to be turned in with the rubric, the printed draft, the hand-written draft, and the 2 pictures of the monster.

*Homework*– No homework.

- Papers were passed back and placed in the students’ portfolios.
- Then students revised and completed peer editing on their printed monster instruction drafts.
- While students did this, I checked off that students had their printed drafts for a grade. If you were not here, make sure you show me your draft when you return.

*Homework*– Continue revising your draft. Block 3 will finish their final copy tomorrow, and all other blocks will finish their final copy on Friday.

- Students completed the DGP Quiz #3 over Weeks 5 & 6.
- Students then completed an index card that says what the student is grateful for.

*Homework*– If you did not finish typing on Wednesday, finish typing the draft and print it out by Monday.

- Students were given a review sheet to prepare for their DGP Quiz tomorrow. We spent the class going over the correct answers on it as well.

*Homework*– If you did not finish typing yesterday, finish typing the draft and print it out by Monday. This can be done at home (preferably) or before school/in homeroom in the library but the library does get full fast which is why at home is preferred.

- Students went to the library to continue typing their drafts into paragraphs.
- Students are to use the format given to them in class while typing in Word on Office365
