Good afternoon! What a great feeling to be finished with testing! I am super proud of the hard work students showed during the past few weeks of testing.

This week, we are:

Reading: Describing characters in a story and how their actions, feelings, and motivations affect the events in a story. Students applied this skill with fairy tales!

Writing: revising and editing our adapted fairy tales. Students will publish next week.

Language Arts: determining the meaning of unknown words with context clues.

Math: applying properties of multiplication to solve problems within 100. Students have reviewed many properties of multiplication such as commutative, distributive, associative, identity, and zero. Students also reviewed their multiplication facts.

Science: identifying four or more ways to protect the environment through the conservation of resources and recycling of materials.
