Class Wish List: kid-friendly cleaning wipes, treasure box items

Soil homework: By 10-7, students need to complete a soil review packet. This will help them prepare and review for the soil quiz on 10/7 as well. I will give out the packet on Monday, 10/2. If any students want a head start on the packet over the break, they can get one from Miss Nichols this Friday. We do NOT expect students to work over Fall Break!

Economics homework: By 10-7, students also need to complete a reading passage with questions for Social Studies. Just like the soil homework, students can get a head start over the break  OR wait to begin on Monday after the break.

Growing Crystals Extension Activity: Please send a picture to either teacher OR bring in the crystal by 10-7. This is an optional extension project for science, NOT mandatory!

Enjoy your Fall Break! 🙂

Writing Celebration

Please see the following flyer regarding our first writing celebration next Friday at 9:30 am! We did not have time to review this event with students today, but it will be discussed in Morning Meeting on Monday!

During this writing celebration, students will share their small moment narratives. We will practice presentation skills next week during Writing Workshop.

There will be a few more writing celebrations throughout the year if you cannot make it to this one.

If Your Child Is Sick…

There are some illnesses going around the school. If your child is feverish or throwing up, please keep them home for 24 hours. They must be free of a fever and throwing up in order to return to school. Thank you for avoiding the spreading of more germs!

During testing, there will be plenty of time to make up the missed tests.
