THANK YOU FAMILIES!!!

Well, this is it… our last blog post for the 2019-2020 school year.  What a year it has been!  We never in a million years thought our year would end the way it did.  We never would have guessed that March 13th would be the last day in our classroom.  We have loved coming to school everyday and to be with our students.  Every day has been an adventure with lots of fun!

We wanted to thank you all so much for your support throughout this year!  Whether it was donating items for various things, bringing in birthday treats, or helping your child with digital learning,  THANK YOU!  Thank you for all of the time spent preparing for Zoom calls, working through technical issues, turning in digital work, and to put it simply, being your child’s teacher for the last 2 months!  We could not have done it without you!

We absolutely loved seeing students one last time at the car parade!  Thank you so much for participating and thank you for the wonderful, kind words, cards, and gifts.  We will treasure them all!

Although we could not end the way we wanted, we are so excited to see what our students achieve in Middle School.  We know they will do great things!  We will miss them so much and we hope everyone has a wonderful summer!

~Mrs. Pace & Mrs. Slaughter

Monday 5.18.20

We have LOVED having all of our students in our class this year!   This is not how we wanted to end the year, but for the last few days, we wanted to do something fun!  We have emailed you a Memory Book to complete for this year.  Two versions were emailed to you, but only choose ONE.  The two options are:

  1. Power Point- Open the Power Point attached to the email.  On each page, fill in the text box with the appropriate information.  On some slides, there are places to insert pictures.  If you have photos to insert, you may use them.  Otherwise, you can search for images online.
  2. PDF- Print Version- You may choose this version if you would like to have a paper copy of your Memory Book.  Print the pages from the PDF file.  You can write in the boxes and draw pictures.

You may choose either of these formats.  We will be working on these Monday-Wednesday.  We would love to see your progress, so if you would like to take pictures of your work, you can post it to the Padlet linked below.  You can also use this Padlet page to post any of the great memories you have from this year.
