Hello Soaring Eagles!
In the event of a district CTLS outage, or if you are unable to access our live session, our backup plan will always be to complete your FLIPGRID lesson/assignment. You should already have your FLIPGRID login codes. If you need your FLIPGRID login code, please contact Ms. Hopkins directly at email@example.com.

Happy art making!
On this day in 1853 in the town of Zundert, The Netherlands, Vincent van Gogh was born, and the world was forever changed. Unfortunately, during his lifetime, Van Gogh’s work went unrecognized. Today, there are several iconic Van Gogh works that people all over the world recognize as being by Van Gogh including Starry Night, Sunflowers, Almond Blossom, Wheat field with Cypresses, and Irises, just to name a few. In honor of his birthday, here are a few coloring sheets for you.
If you would like to read more about Van Gogh and visit the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, please click on the link. (Make sure this is ok with your parent/grown-up before visiting the link!)
Feel free to create your own Van Gogh picture using crayons, markers, paint or anything else you have around the house!
Don’t forget to email me pictures of your art!
Hope everyone is doing well during our digital days of learning! If you are wanting to get a little messy (and your parents will let you) I’ve attached some fun art recipes. Make sure you get permission before you start. 🙂 Have fun and keep sending those AWESOME art pictures to me! I LOVE seeing what you are making!
