Hour of Code

This week students in grades 3-5 are invited to come to the learning commons to participate in the national hour of code.
“Hour of Code” is a global event that teaches students one hour+ of computer science. It is designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics. Computers are used in every area of life and the benefits of learning code are not just for 21st century career paths, but it also helps students nurture critical thinking and problem solving skills that they can use now.
