Baker Elementary is participating in the 6 flags read to succeed program. Your child should have received a reading log from their teacher. Students need to read 6 hours and log it and then they will get a free 6 flags ticket! Forms are due to your teacher by Friday, Feb. 26. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
Students have been exploring the Cobb Digital Library lately in the the Learning Commons. Kindergarten watched a video about polar bears on Bookflix. First grade watched videos on Brain Pop about George Washington. Second grade used PebbleGo to research Martin Luther King Jr.
Don’t forget that you can also read ebooks using Cobb Digital Library. You can also download the free app to your phone or tablet. Make sure the school says Baker. Ask your students about their log in or email email@example.com.
