Learning Commons Transformation

A lot of people have asked to see before and after pictures of our space. Here they are:

The circulation was desk was brown and boring. It was also in the center of the media center.

We painted the circulation desk black and moved it over.

In it’s place, we added these fresh white shelves.

We used to have a loft, which was too close to the ceiling, so we took it down. This is now where the circulation desk is.

  1. Emily,
I was most impressed with the Learning Commons at Baker. We had a very nice visit. I am looking forward to having a Learning Commons at my new school in Columbia County. Thanks again for your time.

    • Dr. Doolittle,
You are welcome! I glad you were able to come visit. Once you start making plans for your learning commons, feel free to send your media specialist here for a visit.
