Important Georgians Study Guide

If your child forgot to bring home their flip book to study for the Social Studies summative tomorrow on Mary Musgrove, Tomochichi, and James Olgethorpe, you are welcome to print out a copy of the study guide I sent home on Tuesday under Homework Resources.

Schoolwide STEM

The next school wide STEM day is on Wednesday, November 29th.  We will begin at 8:30 and conclude at 10:30.  Our STEM will be based on our Creek and Cherokee standards and revolves around Creek and Cherokee Transportation.  Please send in any of the following supplies  by November 27th for this STEM activity.

Small Plastic Figurines
Matchbox Cars

Dry Corn Kernels

Toliet Paper Tubes

Cardstock paper

Pebbles

Bark

Georgia Parent Survey

East Side families, It is time for you to complete the Georgia Parent Survey. The data gathered from these surveys will be used as part of the calculation of East Side’s School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The Georgia Parent Survey link is posted below.  We ask for one parent from each family to complete the survey by Friday, December 15, 2017.

Book Fair

The book fair is until 6 pm today and until noon tomorrow.  If you would like to order books for your child from the book fair over the holiday break, you are welcome to go to the Scholastic website and locate our school to purchase items.  Thank you for all of your help and support with the Book Fair.
