BETA Club students,

Please remember that Ms. Colacicco and Ms. Sneed need copies of your report cards.

We will begin selling Chick-fil-A calendars the first week of October. Please use the Calendar Sales Slip-2czhn69 and collect money so you can obtain your calendars.

If you have not signed up already, please sign up for beta-club-remind-messages.

Finally, please look around for places/events where you can earn community service hours. Feel free to check with Ms. Colacicco or Ms. Sneed regarding your hours.

If any BETA Club students are interested in helping out at a local subdivision’s club house and pool area after our own Earth Day celebration, please consider spending an hour or two at Meadowgrove Club. Their cleanup session will be from 10am-3pm. Please see me if you would like to participate.

Community Service Hours Opportunities

BETA Club Members may want to consider volunteering to help at the rising 6th grade program on February 6th. Mrs. Rogers or Mrs. Kerr can sign off on volunteer hours for you. Please help make a positive impression on our guests and let Ms. Colacicco or Ms. Sneed know right away if you’re able to volunteer!

Please consider volunteering to help at the Funky Socks to Stock Race on Saturday, March 18th. Mrs. Carchio needs volunteers no later than 7:30 AM to help set up for the race and assist runners with signing in that morning. We also need students strategically placed along the race route to assist with directions. The race should be completely over by 10 AM, but we need volunteers to help clean up afterwards as well. Please speak with Ms. Colacicco, Ms. Sneed, or Mrs. Carchio if you are able to assist this day!

Please discuss this idea with your parents! Ms. Colacicco and Ms. Sneed will be volunteering one Saturday in February and would love to get a large group of BETA Club students and their parents to volunteer with us. As soon as we’ve decided on a specific day, we will let you know, but please go ahead and review the website now!

December 2

Thank you!

Thank you to all of our students who sold Chick-fil-A calendars! Because of you, we are able to purchase gifts for our Angel Tree! Any student interested in meeting at Target to make the purchases should speak with Ms. Colacicco or Ms. Sneed ASAP as we are planning on going Monday after school.

I’d also like to thank James Rogers for his extra effort in selling calendars! You are amazing, James, and Ms. Colacicco and I can’t thank you enough for all of your help with our sales!
