January Update!

Happy New Year (a little bit late) and I hope everyone had an awesome MLK weekend!

Here is an important event that we would love to have you attend:

January 25, 2018- Digits and Donuts! This is an event that will include fun math games and yummy donuts! Please join us from 12:45-1:15. Other grade levels will have activities throughout the day. Every student loves for their parent to come and support their learning in their environment!

Be safe and stay warm!

December Celebrations!

Happy Wednesday, Parents!

I hope this update finds you happy and excited for the upcoming holiday! I just wanted to send everyone an update on the activities happening next week in the classroom!

We are collecting items for our Christmas stockings, which will be hanging in our classroom. I’m attaching the sheet that was sent home on Friday of last week. Please bring in, if you can, 20 of a small item for each of the students to have in their stockings. Anything would be awesome! Small erasers, fun holiday pencils, candy, they will love it!

I am having the kids work on a holiday project that they will be able to bring home for the holidays. I am providing the main portion of the project, but the kids need the Ziploc plastic foldable sandwich bags. The more, the merrier. It will be a really fun activity that they will be so proud of.

Finally, our holiday celebration will be on Friday, December 15 from 9:00-10:30! I’m very excited because the kids have worked so hard this year and they deserve some celebration. If you would like to come volunteer to help with a center or want to bring in something from the class, I would love to have you! Your kids love to see you at school and it is always nice to have extra hands to help out!

Your kids are so awesome and I can’t wait to share this time of year with them!

Week 7 updates

Good Afternoon Parents!

Week 7 is pretty smooth after such windy and rainy hurricane days! I’m so glad everyone is and returned back to school with smiling faces. Here are some updates for the coming weeks:

TONIGHT! Please check your student’s folder because progress reports went home and they are in need of your signature. They need to be returned and you are more than welcome to email me with any questions.

September 25-29 is FALL BREAK! There will be no school that week so please enjoy more time off and with your sweet kids.

October 6 ends the first 9 weeks of school. Wow, that flew by fast!

October 12 is early release, so the school will be dismissing at 12:15.

October 16-20 is Conference Week! You will be getting more information on that when it get closer.

Happy almost Fall!

Love & Learning,

Brooke Patrick
