On Thursday we will be going on our field trip to the Dallas Theater.  We will be leaving around 10:00 and returning after the show.  We will be eating lunch at school so there is no need to worry about packing special field trip lunches.  Please have your child wear their Vaughan green shirt if they have one.  If not, a Vaughan shirt or any green shirt will be fine.

March homework is coming home today.  Please have your child work on completing at least 15 activities for the month.  I have been telling them that the homework in 2nd grade will be different and they need to get in the habit of working hard on their homework and taking pride in their work.  They should also be reading every night for 20 minutes.  This is also a good habit to get into.

Join us Thursday night for STEM night.  There will be fun activities for the students to participate in and food to purchase.  STEM night activities will be in the lunchroom and the gym from 6:00- 8:00.pm.
