Field Day

Field Day is Wednesday, May 15th.

Students will need to wear their class shirt, or a black t-shirt.

The Field Day activities will begin after our social skills lesson.  Students will rotate through various activity stations.  The class will have a lunch break, and return to the classroom.  At the end of the day, kindergarten and first grade classes will gather in the gym to participate in a tug-of-war competition.

Children Picture

We will be outside for a few hours during the morning.  If your child requires sunscreen, please send it in for your child to use.

We hope all of our students will be able to participate in the Field Day festivities.  We have been talking about good sportsmanship in the class.  We encourage students to have good sportsmanship, be respectful, and to be kind to others.  Following directions and accepting feedback is important every day, but especially on Field Day.  Students who make poor behavior choices will not be able to participate.  Please encourage your child to make good choices, follow directions, and accept feedback, on Field Day and every day.
