The example below shows how teachers can “Lab Smash” in which students demonstrate arranging and deeper knowledge through discussion. Use the SMART Lab activity called Rank Order to arrange fractions from smallest to largest. Then, have students take a screenshot and post it in the SMART Lab activity called Shout It Out to defend and justify their answers through group discussions.
