Thank you!

I want to thank everyone who came out to our Field Days! Words cannot even begin to describe how blessed myself and Mrs. Langley are to have all the support for our parents, staff, and volunteers. I want to give a big shout out to Mr. Murray at Allatoona High school for organizing the involvement of our high school students. Also to Mike, the Cobb County Sheriffs, and Cobb County Police for coming out and sharing their vehicles for students to see and touch.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you very much for making our Field Days a huge success!

Hey Pirates,

There are only 13 more days of school left. Lets end this year with a bang! We are going to be playing some of our Pirate’s favorite large group games.

First up, is our cone stealing, strategy filled game called, “Pirates”. Students must work against other teams to try and collect the most cones to fill up their treasure chest.

Next, you better watch out for the radioactive isotopes in our tossing and throwing game, “McKidiver”. Students will work together to try and knock down their opponents hula huts. The team that knocks down the most in will be the winner.

Good morning Pirates!

The countdown is on until the end of the school year. We will have some very fun and exciting games and activities to finish out the rest of the school year.

The first of which will be kickball and baseball. For 3rd – 5th, we will be teaching the basic rules of both games. As for K-2nd, we will be playing a modified version to keep the students moving around more.

The weather has been wonderful! We have been taking every opportunity to get outside during our PE times. Please make sure students wear good tennis shoes and sunscreen.

FittnessGram testing will continue for 4th and 5th grades this week. We will focus on our Pacer test.
