On Thursdays in October, the MakerSpace will be open during Study Hall @8:20 am AND during Mav Blocks when applicable for our second Makers Challenge of the school year!
Passes are limited to 20 per session. Tuesdays will be ‘open exploration’ days in the MakerSpace.
In this challenge, you will be provided materials to construct your own launchers that will fling a pop-pom pumpkin as far as possible. Students are welcome to bring in additional supplies if they’d like but launchers must be built in the MakerSpace.
The launcher with the best design will win a prize. Launchers will be tested by a panel of guest judges on the afternoon of Thursday, October 26th & winners will be announced on Friday, October 27th.
