LG: Learn and practice vocabulary that relates to: talking about schedules, the days of the week, and sequencing events.

  1. Warm up by using previously learned vocabulary, phrases, and structures. Review the Structures 2A.2.
  2. Check students’ comprehension by completing section 3 p. 40 in student workbook.
  3. Present the Contextes vocabulary for Leçon 2B. Use the Digital Image Bank.
  4. Have student pairs complete select Mise en pratique activities.p. 53 in text
  5. Check for understanding by going over the answers to the exercises.

Tuesday

  1. Warm up by chatting with the class, using previously learned vocabulary, phrases, and structures. Review Contextes vocabulary and homework activities.
  2. Present the Roman-photo and Expressions utiles, using the video stills. Begin reading the Roman-photo excerpts as a class.
  3. Have students make observations and predictions about the film and role-play scenes based on the video stills and accompanying text.
  4. Watch the Roman-photo segment together. Use the corresponding worksheet from the Cahier de l’élève.
  5. Watch the Roman-photo segment again
  6. Have student pairs or small groups complete selected Activités.
  7. Present Culture features to the class using jigsaw, numbered heads together, or other grouping strategies.
