Week of 8/28/17

We are starting to pick up the pace as we move to Chap. 3. Great Job on your workouts, class assignments, and chapter test.

Brochures and presentation is due on Monday

This week we will cover the first 2 lessons in Chapter 3.

Meal plans and Fitness logs will be given out to be completed.

  • complete chapter 3 vocabulary all lessons
  • Dress out clothes

Personal Fitness

Great! We have completed the first week and accomplished a lot. Hope everyone is excited as I am about the rest of the semester. Here is a snap shot of what we will be doing this week.

  • Common Assessment
  • Ch. 1 vocab completed.
  • Class work outs – Focus on teamwork.
  • Edmodo writing prompt open.
  • Ch. 1 PowerPoint presentation.
  • SLO assessment.

Remember to come with a positive attitude, open mind & readiness to learn.

WELCOME BACK!!

Over the next few days we will get to know each other a little better, establish some rules and expectations for the success of you as a student in this class. We will complete fitness gram, common assessment and physical fitness goals you will set for yourself in this class through a writing prompt.

I look forward to getting to know each one of you during this course.

Personal Fitness

Week of 3/6 – 3/10/17

This is our final week of Personal Fitness. This week we will complete Chapter 5 and work on our final portfolio project.

Next week will be review and preparation for the written final on Wednesday March 15th.

Fitness final will be on Tuesday March 14th.

We will continue to dress out for fitness activity.

Student led work outs will continue.

Week 1/30 – 2/3/17

Okay Guys, we have pick up the pace with class instruction and portfolio requirements.

We will go over fitness log and calculate fitness vs diet plan.

Student led work out will begin this week.

Writing prompt 2 will take place this Wednesday.

Digital portfolio work should begin being uploaded.

Sophomore Seminar

Week of 1/30 – 2/3

This week we will wrap up goals setting, Vision boards and updating our blogs. We will begin looking at organizational skills, structure and the discipline that comes with it.

This week we will also begin our class video.

We will continue to post comments on the discussion board on Edmodo.
