WHAT: DONUTS AND DONATIONS
to benefit Jenny Lane
WHERE: Blackwell Elementary School cafeteria
WHEN: This Saturday, December 16th, 8:00am-10:00aWHY: Jenny Lane, sister of Blackwell’s Teacher of the Year, 3rd grade teacher Liz Chandler, was injured in a horrible accident this past weekend. While out walking in the snow with her husband and son, a tree branch fell on her, hitting her in the head and severing her spinal column, which has caused permanent paralysis. Jenny has a long road to recovery, and she and her family need any and all help from Blackwell and its surrounding communities.
Individual donuts and donuts by the dozen will be available for a minimum donation. Additional donations are also welcome. Please consider stopping by the school, enjoying a donut (or two), and making a donation.
SANTA will be here for pictures, too!

Please come to R.I.S.E. Night (Raising Individual Student Expectations) next Thursday, November 2 from 6:00-6:45 you have the opportunity to work with me to write a SMART goal for your child to help them master multiplication or division fact fluency.
You can bring your children to watch a movie with Ms. Wacker while we look at class data, write goals, and practice some activities that you can use at home. We will be giving you cards and dice to use with the activities. Your child brought home an invitation today if you did not already RSVP during conferences.
I hope you can join us! It will be a valuable use of your time as we work together to raise your child’s fact fluency.
