Local school administrators can now create Teacher Teams in Enhanced CTLS Assess. This provides teachers that are part of the teacher team access to view data for any teacher within the group. It also provides an option to share assessments with the Teacher Team(s), rather than the whole school. Access to data through Teacher Teams is beneficial to staff members such as ESOL teachers, school counselors and other support staff that would not normally have access to data in CTLS Assess.

CTLS Assess has tools that administrators can use to make gathering and analyzing data even easier for teachers.
Teacher Teams can be set up by school administrators to group teachers into professional learning communities, multiple subject areas or grade levels, or even those teachers who share the same students. It can quickly and easily encourage collaboration in your school-with just a few clicks.
When administrators need to give teachers access to student data outside the normal schedule, the administrator can create a custom group. This is a super tool that allows teachers scheduled for supplementary student courses or after school tutor groups to better serve students because they can instantly see strengths and weaknesses.
Finally, an entirely different function in CTLS Assess allows administrators to create special testing groups. This is helpful when there is a need for a proctor (someone other than the teacher scheduled for that course) to give an assessment. When students are divided into groups in Test Group Builder, a proctor is able to give an assessment, and the data is sent to the scheduled teacher of record.

In CTLS Assess, Teacher & Staff Teams are especially helpful for groups of teachers in a PLC that share a common subject, course, or grade within a school. Each teacher within the team can view their own class data as well as the data for the other teachers on their Teacher Team. Once the teams are created, teachers are able to access and analyze data across co-taught classrooms, grade level teams, and department teams.
Teacher & Staff teams must be created by school administrators within CTLS Assess in the Management Widget. Click here to access directions on how to create Teacher and Staff Teams.
