Blocks 1, 3, 5: Today in class we went to the media center (block 3 will go Tuesday) to get signed up for the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge. Then you had time to practice the vocabulary words before the test. Afterwards we went back to class and you took your vocabulary test.

Blocks 1, 3, 5: Today in class you took the vocabulary test over your first set of words. Then I gave you extra time to complete your task assignments from yesterday because we spent part of yesterday’s class at the book fair.

Blocks 2, 4: Today in class you continued reading in our novel and met with your partner to get your storyboards ready for tomorrow. We will be in the media center, so your storyboard should be complete or mostly complete. That will give you more time to get your graphics and music chosen for your music video.

Blocks 1, 3, 5: Today in class we visited the BOGO book fair and you had the opportunity to purchase a book (actually 2…when you bought one, you got one FREE). If you did not bring money today and want to buy books, the book fair is open until Thursday. Then we returned to class and you worked with your partner on your chosen task assignments for today.
