Important Information to Review Over the Break

We are in need of hand sanitizer, tissues, Clorox wipes, and Band-aids. If you can help, please send them in! Thank you so much!

Cell Phones should be kept in your lockers. According to the county student handbook, “Students shall not use, display, or turn on communication beepers, cellular phones, video phones, or electronic devices during instructional time, class change time, breakfast or lunch.” There will be consequences issued for the inappropriate use of devices during class. If a specific class requests devices be brought in, teachers will tell the students ahead of time. Devices are not required to be successful at school.

Do not bring toys to class (slime, cubes, cars/skateboards, etc). These are becoming a distraction and problem and need to be left at home.

If you are absent, it is your responsibility to make up all work (non-graded and graded). Resources for my class are located under each blog entry for the respective week, along with being located in the grade specific crate in my room.

6th Grade Social Studies Homework – Students should complete the British Impact on Aborigines Crossword and at least half of the Australia Unit Study Guide over the break. The Australia Unit Test will occur on Wednesday, February 28th. Students should start to review their material now to be ready for the test.
