April 15, 2016.

Wow, I have done a poor job of updating my blog!

The good news, however, is that there has been no homework, and classwork has been more interactive, class-discussion in nature. Language Arts has been learning about figurative language and reading continues Unbroken (WWII just ended!).

I couldn’t be more proud of how hard you have all worked on the Milestone testing!!
Two more days to go…

WELCOME BACK!

I hope you all had a wonderful break! I love seeing so many tan, happy faces.

LANGUAGE ARTS

Today in class…

We began a mini-unit on figurative language. Today’s focus was on similes and metaphors.  I dare you to see how many you can hear in the songs you listen to on the radio!!

There is no homework tonight.
