Good afternoon kiddos,
Before we get too busy with the start of summer vacation, I want to take a moment to thank you. All of you. Every year I have this awesome opportunity to meet and teach children – something I have wanted to do ever since I was a little girl. Every day that I come to work I am fortunate enough to teach you something, but more importantly I am fortunate enough to learn something from you. This year you have taught me how to problem solve, to be more patient, to look at things from a perspective other than my own, and to find humor in things that may be otherwise frustrating (like all of my mistakis :)). I have learned that I have strengths as a teacher and areas in which I can, and will, do better. Most importantly, you have reminded me that I am doing the job that I was meant to do. It has been an honor to share these days with you. When you are big, stinky 7th graders please stop by to say “hello.”
H. A.W. S. V!
