Hello Kiddos,

Today in class we finished quizzes that needed to be finished from Friday, got back a graded assignment, and took notes on long division with decimal remainders. Homework tonight, for all classes, is p. 49, #1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10.  All of the numbers in those problems “play nicely” together and are a good place to review and practice with long division.  Here is a video that will help you with your homework if you are feeling stuck.

Here are another links that may help you if you’d just like to hear someone else explain division.  Sometimes another perspective is all you need if you are feeling a little confused. 🙂

The good news is, this way of dividing is the same way your grown ups divided in school, so you can also and always ask for help at home.

See you tomorrow!
