In-Text Citations in Tuck Everlasting

Reading teacher Mr. Vedra and Media Specialist Mrs. Baker are partnering once again! This time they will be collaboratively teaching students how to cite textual evidence as they study Natalie Babbitt’s Tuck Everlasting. At their first session, Wednesday, September 30th, students will be introduced to the Modern Language Association’s (MLA) format and will be guided through the structure utilized to show evidence from the book (text) to support written response. Mrs. Baker and Mr. Vedra will walk students through several practice examples. Any absent students should utilize the attached resources: Citing Sources in Tuck Everlasting and Corresponding Citation Guide.
