8th Grade Dance tickets were sold today during lunch and will also be sold on tomorrow, Tuesday during lunch.  This is the last opportunity purchase tickets. There will be no ticket sales at the door on Tuesday evening. Students MUST have a signed permission slip in order to purchase their ticket which are now $12. PTSA still has a need for donations and volunteers if parents are able to assist. Please see the permission slip and the PTSA website.

Yearbooks are in the student’s possession. Please have students write their names in several places in their books, and on at least one of the hard back pages. Remember that we do not have lockers or backpacks, students should be mindful about this when bringing yearbooks to school with them and know they would have to keep them at all times.

Students are no longer able to charge lunch.

School dismisses at 1:30 the last two days of school, tomorrow and Wednesday we will dismiss at 1:30!  Please note that when buses arrive we will load them promptly and dismiss accordingly.

Bus passes are not available for the last week of school; students MUST take their own buses home.

Remember that reading is FUN and FUNdamental! READ READ READ this summer!

  • Summer reading information for rising 7th and 8th graders went home last week. Our rising 6th graders are receiving their reading information from their 5th grade teachers.
  • Our current 8th Graders, those rising 9th graders please check the high school’s website for your summer reading information.

Early Release:  May 23rd and May 24th! Dismissal @ 1:30!

8th Grade Dance tickets are being sold this during lunch on May 17th-19th Students MUST have a signed permission slip in order to purchase their ticket. Tickets are $10 and are for ECMS 8th graders only. PTSA still has a need for donations and volunteers if parents are able to assist. Please see the PTSA website.

During this last week of school backpacks are not allowed and there will be no locker usage. Lockers were cleaned out on Friday May 12th and students were to take all locker belongings home. Students only need to bring notebooks and something to write with.

End of the year activities are on the horizon… Stay tuned for important dates and information.

8th Grade Dance tickets are being sold this during lunch May 8th-10th and May 17th-19th. Students MUST have a signed permission slip in order to purchase their ticket. Tickets are $10 each and for 8th ECMS 8th graders only.

7th/8th Grade Band and Orchestra Spring Concert is Tuesday, May 16th at 7PM!

Morning Intramurals has concluded for this year. Parents remember that drop off time is no earlier than 8:45AM.

Remember that reading is “fun”damental! Encourage your child to read for at least 20 minutes each night.
