Quarter 2 Report Cards were made available in StudentVue and ParentVue on January 11, 2019. Parents, remember throughout the remainder of the year you will have to access your child’s progress reports and report cards online via ParentVue. Please sign on the appropriate line for Q2 Report Card indicating that you have viewed your child’s report card online and reviewed the contents in the envelope. Students should return the signed envelope to their homeroom teacher as soon as possible. If you have not registered for ParentVue code, please do so. Come visit student services or use the ParentVue barcode on our webpage and follow directions on how to get your code.
Last week we announced upcoming events that your child will be invited to attend this spring at East Cobb Middle School. To provide a safe and orderly environment at these events, we will be implementing a behavior expectations plan. All students recently participated in Team Talks. During these “Talks”, topics of discussion included but were not limited to: academics, retention, attendance, behavior, and goals. Please see the previous blog post (January 11th) to click on the link to obtain a copy of the detailed letter that your child was given on Friday, January 11, 2019.
Please join us for the PTSA general meeting Thursday, January 17, 2019 @ 6:00pm in the East Cobb Middle School Learning Commons. We will have light refreshments as we celebrate our volunteers and announce the volunteer of the year!

Parents for morning drop-off, please remember that the curb (red) in front of the school is a fire lane and is for drop-offs only. Please do not park. Some parents have been parking and waiting; which hinders other students from being dropped off. If you are here early and wait to let your student out of the car, please park in the parking lot and then drive to the drop off lane to let your student out in front of the school.
