Learning Commons Updates March 27-31

This week in the learning commons we continued with small group and whole group check out as well as lessons with grade levels. Classes continued to visit to use the computers for USA test prep time as well as working on publishing their writing. Some classes also visited to listen to stories about preparing for spring. Kindergarten classes started working with the bee bots to solve math fact problems. Also, don’t forget that next week is spring break!

KidTalk Competition

KiDtalk 2017 is here!  KiDtalk is a student competition for Cobb students. NEW for 2017 is the TeacherTalk competition for Cobb teachers!  This year we’re asking students & teachers to tell us how they are committed to impacting their world, community and/or school.  Winners will speak to all educators in Cobb during Learning Kickoff.  All KiDtalk & TeacherTalk submissions are due by April 14, 2017.  Visit http://www.kidtalkcobb.com for complete competition details.

 

 

 

STEM Night
