While this week has been a short week, we have been busy with whole group and small group check out. Also, Ms. Chaffin’s 4th grade ELA classes came through to complete a Book Emoji activity where they were introduced to a variety of genres and perhaps books they may not normally check out. Also, first grade classes are coming through this week and next to complete an addition activity with bee bots.
This is another great, quick tip when you have multiple programs open on your computer. You can quickly switch between open programs by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Tab.
This week we continued whole group and small group check out. Some third grade classes participated in book talks with Mrs. Sherman, and fourth grade classes completed their EOG field test on the computers with their ELA teacher.
This week’s tip is again the encouragement of the use of Cobb Digital Library (CDL). To access CDL, please click here. Students can access all Frey databases, e-books, and audiobooks both at home and at school using CDL.
Please contact Mrs. Sherman at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions
We would like to welcome everyone back after the holiday break! We hope everyone is staying warm in these chilly temperatures!
During this short week in the learning commons, we will continue whole group and small group check out. Also, fifth grade students are completing a book emoji activity in order to sample books they may not have considered or checked out before.
