Learning Commons Updates

The LC has been busy this week with third grade classes continuing their research. Classes received information about Cobb Digital Library and how to access resources for their informational writing. Additionally, Kindergarten and first classes discussed author and illustrator while examining stories about Halloween! Also, Mrs. Pinkard’s second grade class also worked on green screen projects!

In the makerspace, students have four stations they can work through in the mornings as well as choices they can create during the day. Also, fifth graders have been creating makerspace projects based on their reading of Esperanza Rising. Don’t forget we welcome donation year round for the makerspace!

Technology Tip Tuesday

This week’s technology tip is how to quickly pull up the font options available. You can highlight your selection and select the Ctrl + D keys. The font options available will automatically pop up in a separate screen. Thanks again for checking for this week’s tech tip!
