The Frey makerspace is open in the learning commons during regular school hours. This is a space where students can make, create, brainstorm, tinker, and design projects. Students can visit in small groups (with teacher permission) or whole-class as their classroom schedule allows. The makerspace is open in the mornings from 7:15-7:50 to a specific grade level each morning.
Think about donations similar to the STEM lab! Feel free to donate art supplies, pipe cleaners, plastic baggies, plastic grocery bags, rubber bands, straws, glue, cotton balls, string and plastic cups! If you can create something out of it, then consider donating it! Donations will be going on year-round, and you can drop off donations in the learning commons.
