World Lit Week 5: Sept. 14-18

 

Weekly Checklist:

  • Trickster Analysis GO (in CNB) -Monday 9/14
  • Trickster Vocab (CNB)- Tuesday 9/15
  • Trickster Narrative Summative Assessment Part 1 – (read and analyze) Tuesday 9/15 in CNB
  • Trickster Narrative Summative Assessment Part 2- Write the beginning of a trickster tale- Friday 9/18 in CNB

MONDAY:   

Learning Goal(s): Read and analyze trickster tales from different cultures answering “How is the culture reflected in the tale?  What was the purpose of the tale?”  (RL1-2, 3-6)

CTLS Live Session

  • Finish View Odysseus and the Cyclops if needed
  • Complete literary analysis graphic organizer in CNB
  • Building Vocabulary: Complete assigned Trickster vocab words in CNB/Collaboration/Vocab

Independent Work Session

  • Finish all trickster analysis charts in CBN for a grade
  • Be sure NoRedInk assignments are complete
  • Finish Trickster vocab.

 

TUESDAY:

Learning Goal(s):; Demonstrate understanding of trickster archetype and narrative elements

CTLS Live Session

Trickster Narrative Assessment Part 1 (CNB/Quiz/Trickster Assessments Part 1)

Independent Work Session

Finish assessment

Independent workday and sessions as needed
