The Personality Puzzle

Lunch and Learn (Parents, feel free to bring lunch, if you’d like!)

with Dr. Julie Lance, Dickerson School Social Worker

November 8, 2018 12 – 1:30 pm in the Dickerson Media Center

Parenting a child in middle school is a completely new ballgame compared to elementary school. Most middle school adolescents, between the ages of 11 and 14, are at an age where their cognitive development is rapidly changing and becoming more complex. They are able to think more abstractly, think about possibilities and begin to understand different points of view. Considering this, is your parenting style changing with them? The purpose of this lunch and learn is to take a closer look at your child’s personality “color” and compare that to yours. Each parent and child will take an easy and fun personality inventory to spark discussion on how you and your child are both similar and different. This lunch and learn will discuss crucial developmental milestones as well as how your child’s personality affects them. Likewise, we will identify how your personality traits can complement your child’s growth and development.

Space is limited to the first 15 parents that sign up. Please use the link below to reserve your spot.
