We had a great first day! Every single student was a wonderful pleasure to have in class. THANK YOU to everyone who donated materials and supplies to the classroom! I so appreciate it! Y’all are the best!
I enjoyed getting to meet everyone at open house. I am so excited for this school year!
- If you haven’t yet please sign in here: sign in . This helps me get your email and information about your student.
Make sure your student knows how they are going home on Monday! If your student is going to ASP make sure you have a weekly or year form from the office. If you are doing ASP day by day then just make sure you have a note that your student can give me.
- Please let me know if you need a Foundation Donation Form and I will send one home with your student.
Send back the forms you received at Open House with your student on Monday. Unfortunately there will be more forms coming home Monday so be prepared for that. (I’m sorry!).

I am so excited for this school year and to meet my new 5th graders! It’s been a short summer but I am ready to start back to school! I can’t wait to meet everyone at Meet and Greet on July 27th at 9:45-10:30! Students please bring a summer photo of you that I can put in the classroom. Students also do not forget about your summer reading. The book you chose to read must be in the range of your lexile level. Your 4th grade teacher put your lexile level on your report card if you have forgotten. You will need to bring a complete summary of the book you chose to read on the first day of school and you will take an AR test on the book so make sure you’re reading!

Crunch by Leslie Connor (lexile 490)
Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt (lexile 550)
