WELCOME TO ART AT PITNER 2018-2019
FUN ART WEBSITES TO VISIT TODAY!
This school year will be full of exciting art projects. We will be using various art supplies and learn about art from around the world. All of our art lessons will be based from the Georgia Standards of Excellence.
“To succeed today and in the future, America’s children will need to be inventive, resourceful, and imaginative. The best way to foster that creativity is through arts education.” – Arne Duncan, Former Secretary of U.S. Dept. of Education
We will also have our annual Pitner Fine Arts and STEM Night, which will be during the spring. Each art student will have his or her art featured that night. This event will be even bigger than last year with fun for all.
This year we will once again work with Original Works and have various items decorated with students’ art. Last year was such a success. These make great Holiday gifts!
Thank you to Mr. Oscar and the rest of our amazing custodial staff for such a sparkling art room!
If you are interested in volunteering in the art room, please contact me. Please feel free to email Mrs. Hardesty: [email protected]
