Welcome to week 13 of the first 18 weeks! I hope you are taking the time to safely be active and as many of you have already done, feel free to email me at any time with your questions or concerns. As you know, in accordance with Governor Kemp’s guidance and to best prioritize student and staff safety, Cobb Schools will remain closed through the end of the 2019-2020 school year.
Beginning Monday, April 13, 2020, for all Cobb County students, and for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year, digital learning will occur on a Monday through Thursday schedule. Each Friday will be an opportunity for students to independently review their progress from the previous week and to catch-up on assignments as needed. With that, I have included the necessary weeks of your strength and conditioning manual for Monday – Thursday here: Week 12 – 15
Regarding Fridays, please use that time to complete the alternative assignment in accordance with the attendance/participation policy (directions found on the syllabus located here: Harrison Weight Training Syllabus-2lbnug5) for any zeros you have from the beginning of the semester to Thursday 03/12/2020. For your convenience, you can take a picture of the summary and email a copy of it and the article to me. As I receive them, I will adjust your grades. Please know that these alternative assignments are only for zeros in the grade book from the beginning of the semester to Thursday 03/12/2020. You will find helpful information on the right side of this blog under the PAGES section. - Upper & Lower body rotation. MAX clean on Day 2.
- Record the weight for each lift in your workout book
- Your book MUST be signed everyday
