Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Coming to school every day on-time is a key ingredient to student success. The Teasley Attendance Team wants to reward those students who come to school ready to learn and on time every day. Any student who has perfect attendance through the end of the 1st 9 weeks, Friday, October 6th, will receive recognition for their attendance. These students will receive a free dress down day, a surprise treat, and their pictures will be featured on the WWTN news broadcast. Students who have perfect attendance for the entire school year will be invited to a special celebration during the last week of school to praise their commitment to their education. Thank you for your support in getting your student to school every day!

We had a great start in Kindergarten. Not only did we sing songs, play games, and read stories as a group…we also participated in independent activities like reading and writing as well as working cooperatively in groups with our friends. We have spent time getting to know each other during Morning Meeting and met our specials teachers:

PE coaches (Coach Homansky & Coach Sonny)

Music Teacher (Mrs. Mungin), Art Teacher (Ms. Adams)

STEM Teacher (Ms. Dawson), and our Spanish Teacher (Senora Vega).

In the coming weeks we will continue to practice rules, routines, and procedures. Some of our students have already collected enough sticks to go to treasure box! WOW!

PTA & PAWS:   PTA & PAWS supports our school in a number of ways. Here are two ways PTA is supporting our classroom instruction: Publications for each grade level (Weekly Reader, Scholastic News, Storyworks, etc.) and RAZ Kids subscription for all students in K—2nd grade. WE ARE SO FORTUNATE FOR THEIR SUPPORT!!! Be on the lookout for your child’s Raz-Kids password. I hope you enjoy this resource as much as I do!  -Click here to read more about PTA and PAWS and find out how you can help support your Teasley Tiger and our school.

As always, please let me know if you have questions. Have a FABULOUS week everyone!

Your children have been working hard and are adjusting to their new environment.  They are learning to follow a BUSY schedule, work independently, and get along with others. We are so proud of their progress.
