All blocks took the Unit 2 (B) test today.  ALL CLASSES Homework:  Where’s Santa latitude and longitude worksheet-due Friday.  The Vocabulary Expansion for the unit is due tomorrow-this has been ongoing and it should be completed already.

TEST COUNTDOWN….

The Unit 2 (B) test will be on Thursday.  The material covered will be the unit standard SS6H7 a, b, and c.

Blocks 3, 4, and 5:  Students worked on the study guide and had an opportunity to make up missing assignments.

Blocks 6 and 7:  Cold War

All classes have now covered the material that will be on the test.

Happy Wednesday Eve!

The story of the Russian Revolution continued today…..poor Czar?!

HOMEWORK:  If you earned a 100 or below on the DBQ (or have yet to turn it in), you may make the corrections you need and earn up to 60 points back to your grade.  Corrections are due tomorrow-no exceptions.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:  Unit 2 (B) will be December 18th….

The Cold Never Bothers Me Anyway!

We were warming things up today with a lesson on the Russian Revolution!  Sure wish I had the same Easter Bunny as the Czar!

All classes took notes today about the developments in Russia leading up to the revolution.  No homework.

Grades have been updated to reflect the D1 and D2 document analysis assignment turned in today.

ANNOUNCEMENT:  We will have our Unit 2B test on Thursday, December 18th!

HELLLLOOOOO FRIDAY!

What a week training our brain to think like historians!  What a work out!  We are down to the last suspect “War Guilt” and the last piece of evidence.  Your mission:  Interview the suspect (Documents D1 and D2)-remember our thinking process!  Complete the document analysis sheet as well as using thinking marks, sourcing the document, clarifying….you know the drill well!  DUE MONDAY-QUIZ GRADE!

Turn in your Holiday Party letter to your homeroom teacher and bring in a canned food!

I LOVE HISTORY!

We got back on track today and examined our next suspect in the History Mystery!  We looked at Military restrictions placed on Germany and its role in the start of WWII.

Homework:

Classes left mid task today.  Blocks 3, 4, and 5:  You should have completed for class tomorrow the Document Analysis sheet for document B-2 (political cartoon).

Block 7:  Complete the troop totals found in the cartoon.
