Can you believe it?  The last day of April!?!?  WOW!

Blocks 3, 4, and 5:  Look at yesterday’s blog.  The links you need to complete the research portion of your product development can be found there.  You should have task 1 completed by tomorrow.  Task 2 you can finish in class.  If done with both of those.  Task 3 is next.  Setting the price of your product is due on Monday.

Blocks 6 and 7:  Saw wonderful things today.  I am always AMAZED by the ideas that this project generates.  Homework-?, depends on what you have decided.

UNIT 5 and 10 test tomorrow!

Blocks 6 and 7;  Districts will be assigned on Wednesday and we will begin the Hunger Games project then.  STUDY!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

What to do on the rainy days that are predicted?  Study for the Canada/Australia test of course!

Blocks 3, 4, and 5:  STUDY!  Love your study guide and it will love you!

Blocks 6 and 7:  Hunger Games permission slip is due Monday.  Due to the nature of the project-no permission slips will be accepted after Monday.  You will have an independent study to do during this time.  Environmental PSA’s will be due Monday.  We will have 20 minutes to work on these in class before presentations begin.  ABSENT?  Please see me for the assignment you missed today.  

Bring in your envelope and registration forms to your homeroom teachers!

GO CANADA-Olympic sign-ups will begin on Monday!  What are your preferred events?

Busy Day!

Students turned in the response to the Mandatory voting question-they may see that question again soon…like on Tuesday!

Blocks 3, 4, and 5:  Students did test prep today.

Blocks 6 and 7:  Students explored environmental issues of Canada and prepared for a PSA to share information.

Test is on Tuesday, April 28th.

BACK TO NORMAL!

Today students compared the governments of Canada and Australia.  Lots of mini activities to do to accomplish our task.  Students received a packet of information to complete.  Homework:  Complete any work not completed in class today.  Also, DO NOT FORGET to go to your class Edmodo page (codes were given in class today) to participate in our poll-Should citizens be required to participate in their country’s elections?

So proud of the focus and diligence you showed during the Milestone Testing.  I applaud your patience and your ability to sit so quietly for so long.  Go out and enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather today!  Tomorrow we are back to “normal”

Saving the best for last indeed!  Tomorrow is the end of the Milestone testing and the Social Studies portion.  We have had an amazing adventure during this journey.  Look through your standards, eat a good breakfast, hydrate, and relax!

Homework:  complete the classwork from today Block 3, 4, and 6.  Hopefully, you used the time in class to finish the assignment!
