Show students a storyboard for laying out a presentation

Lecture and students take notes from (tagged) note sheet – talk about the purpose of a presentation, audience and how you organize your ideas before beginning

Not only do you present visually but everyone SEES and HEARS you – public speaking – who is considered a good orator? Listen to MLK speech – evaluate – Let’s review the sheet first and talk about volume, language, stress, pacing, pronunciation (asked, axed)

For all business students, you should check the BLOG at the beginning of the week. I try and post my plans for the week by Monday morning. I will use this blog to post PowerPoints from class notes and to remind you of upcoming projects and assessments.

Assign everyone a leadership quote

Students have 45 minutes to type up their leadership reflection paper. Print and turn in. Two formative grades.

Students will (with partners) come up with five business scenarios that promote one of the five exemplary leadership models.
