First Day of School

Hello All!

It was a pleasure meeting those of you who were able to make it to meet and greet yesterday morning. I look forward to meeting the rest of you very soon! With tomorrow quickly approaching, I wanted to remind you of a few important details. First, I will be sending your child home the way you indicated on the sheet at open house unless there is a note stating otherwise in the morning. If you were unable to attend yesterday’s meet and greet, please send in a note indicating the transportation method your child will be using to get home tomorrow afternoon. Also, if you have not brought in your child’s school supplies, please send them in as soon as possible. I have attached a list at the bottom of this post. Finally, please make sure to connect to Class Dojo. I will be sending out announcements and communicating with you through the program throughout the year. If you have any questions regarding our classroom, please feel free to email me at katherine.hall@cobbk12.org. I look forward to working with you and your children this year. Let’s make second grade the best year yet!

Welcome to Second Grade!

Hello Students!

I am so excited that I get to be your teacher this year. I can’t wait to learn and laugh with you all! We will have so much fun together. A little bit about myself: I am a former Baker Bear, attending this school from 1998-2003. This is my third year teaching at Baker and my second year teaching second grade. I love teaching second grade!  I received my undergraduate degree from Kennesaw State University and am currently working on my Master’s Degree from KSU. I grew up in Acworth, and recently bought my first house in the area with my husband, Erik and my cat (Macaroni) and two dogs (Lady and Ripley). When I am not teaching, I love to watch movies, spend time with family, and bake yummy desserts. I can’t wait to spend the next year with all of you! Let’s work together to make it the best year yet.
