Pictures are Here

Below is a message from our administrator, Mr. Traster, regarding procedures for school pictures:

Dear Parents,

Please know that spring pictures went home on Thursday, March 15.  Each student should have received a picture packet if they were present when they were taken.  Inside of each packet are ordering instructions on how to purchase the picture packet or pieces of the packet.  If you do not wish to order any pictures at this time, please send the packet back to school and have your child give it to their homeroom teacher.  If you have any questions, please email Mr. Traster at [email protected].

Thank you!

Can’t wait to see all of the students come back from break and hear about their time off. 🙂

Time is Flying!

Wow! Time is flying by so quickly.  The students are learning so much and are coming so far this year.  It is amazing to watch them learn and grow.  Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us every day!

Just a few reminders:

  1.  As our class size is growing, please remember to label all jackets, etc. that come with your child so that we can make sure everything gets back to the correct student.
  2. There will be no school next week, November 20th – November 24th.
  3. Coming up, December 19th and 20th are EARLY RELEASE days.  Please make plans to be at the bus stop early or to pick up your child early on those two days.
  4. There will be no school December 21st – January 3rd.  We will return on January 4th.

Also, ’tis the season for sickness!!  Please remember that while attendance is important, it is critical that you follow the county’s policy regarding sickness.  It is really important to keep you child home to heal if he/she is sick.  That will help prevent the sickness from spreading.  Please remember that your child must be fever free, vomiting free, and diarrhea free for 24 hours before your child can return to school.

We hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving.  Enjoy the time off with family and friends!!

September is Here!

We have made it through the first month of school.  Your children are doing great!!  They have adjusted so well to the school schedule, and they have bonded with their classmates.  It has been so exciting to see all of the learning that has taken place in such a short amount of time.

Remember there is no school on Monday for Labor Day.  I hope everyone has a wonderful long and restful weekend!

Our classroom monthly newsletter will be coming home next week.  Please read the newsletter carefully for it contains a lot of classroom information.
