3rd Hour – Coach Storey – Week of December 10

U.S. History Cumulative Test:  December 20th and 21st (1st and 2nd pds. are the 20th and 3rd pd. is the 21st)

You have already taken your “Final” it was the EOC (20%).  You will be taking a unit test that is cumulative on “exam day”.  The test is 74 questions.

  • study items sheet (given out on December 7th
  • I’m available for answering questions just about any time.

Plan

Our plan for the time remaining is to watch U.S. History oriented movies.  There will be an activity (for a grade) that will be included.

Test preparation is up to you.  Of course I will answer questions etc.

2nd Hour – Mrs. Johnson – Week of December 10

Monday, December 10 – Students will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 80% mastery on concepts related to segment length in circles.  Students will be able to change radians to degrees and degrees to radian measure.

Agenda:

Students will get practice work back and will ask questions as needed.

2nd Hour – Mrs. Johnson – Week of December 3

Monday, December 3 – Students will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 75% mastery of topics related to circles and angles in circles.

Agenda:

The first half of class, the students will review the circles concepts covered last week.

The students will quiz the second half of class.  Students can choose to have a partner OR work alone and automatically get credit for the two bonus questions.

Tuesday, December 4 – Students will be able to use the Pythagorean theorem to solve situations when chords are intersected by a radius and when a radius touches a tangent line.
