Teasley Tiger Tracks
Our Inquiry Question
What adventures occur out in the world when all of Teasley Elementary School goes on Fall break?
Where does everyone go? What do they do?
What Tiger Tracks do they make and leave behind?
Our Project
Beginning on September 21, the first day of our fall break, carry your “Teasley Tiger” with you everywhere you go!
(You may dress him up or give him tools to prepare him for his travels and adventures)
Keep track of every place he goes and what he experiences…
Who did you see? Where did you go? What did you do?
Document your experiences through photographs, drawings and artifacts.
Include your Teasley Tiger in your pictures.
Our goal is to collect everyone’s experiences to learn how Teasley Tigers make a mark on the world during their break and what learner profiles they are displaying for everyone to see!
Pictures can be submitted through teasleytigertracks@gmail.com
We will also have a hashtag for everyone to use, #TeasleyTigerTracks, if parents/staff want to share through social media as well!
What Tiger Tracks will you make?
You will be receiving an order form for our class t shirt. This is a Kindergarten specific t shirt that we like students to wear on our field trips, they can also wear them as spirit shirts on Fridays with uniform bottoms. The color of our shirt will be tropical blue.

We had a special visitor to Teasley Kindergarten. Officer James is one of our Kindergarten para’s husband and was kind enough to come tell us about his jobs, tools, and even let us get in his car!
We sorted ourselves into our neighborhood communities, and matched housing types that can be found in those communities: City: tall buildings, apartments, not much green space; Suburban: houses, apartments, driveways, cars, parks; rural: farms, lots of green and dirt.
Teasley students are awarded Tiger Paws when they are exhibiting IB Learner Profile characteristics. Every couple of weeks the Paws are taken down and students are drawn from each grade to receive recognition and a treat. We had many students who had received Tiger Paws and 3 of our students Paws were pulled in the drawing. Congratulations!
