Happy Monday! Please mark this Friday on your calendar because you do not want to miss two important events. 1) Picture Day! All students will have their picture taken for the yearbook. Picture packets will come home tomorrow if you would like to purchase the photos. 2) SPARKLES NIGHT. Students received a flyer today with all the important info. This is a great time and an even better fund raiser. Hope to see you there.
Thank you to everyone who attended Open House last night. If you were unable to make it, your student has an envelope with their Milestone test results.
Coming up on August 26th – Picture Day and Sparkles Night
If you haven’t purchased your yearbook, they are on sale now for only $25.00.
I look forward to seeing parents at Open House tomorrow night.
Oops…Picture Day is coming on August 26th not the 25th as posted yesterday.
Don’t forget Open House on August 18th. I look forward to seeing all of you here. Please remember, this is a parent event. We encourage students to remain at home.
The magazine fund raiser has been extended by one week. Sale those subscriptions so DMS can enjoy the BMX bike show, and have funds to finance projects around the school!
Picture Day is coming up August 25th. Picture packets will be sent home closer to the date of the pictures.
Monday: Don’t forget that the fundraiser is in full force! The deadline for magazine sales is Friday! Let’s meet our $5,000 goal.

WOW WIldcats! You ROCK! Thank you to all of you who brought in your forms today. If you didn’t bring in the five documents that need your parents signature, please bring them tomorrow. I will begin assigning lockers tomorrow.
I hope everyone had a wonderful summer. I am excited to be back at school, and I want this year to get off on the right note. Today, students received their agenda and the Cobb County information folder. The following forms in the folder must be signed and returned:
- Performing Arts Permission Slip
- BYOD Permission Slip
- Online Technology Consent Form
- Receipt of Family Info Guide
- Clinic Card
Lockers will be available to the students when all of the above forms are signed.
As we begin the new school year, please keep in mind the following items that would be useful in our classroom. Please consider making a donation now or at any time during the year:
Hand sanitizer, Clorox Wipes, glue sticks, tissues, pencils, blue or black pens, notebook paper.
Thank you so much for your support. I am looking forward to a wonderful year.
It is hard to believe that the year is coming to a close. Please make sure that you keep the following items in mind: Monday is a regular schedule. Tuesday and Wednesday are early release days. Students are asked to be off of the campus by 1:45. Also, students should not bring any book bags to school the last two day. Yearbooks will be distributed on Wednesday.
