Progress reports will be going home this week! Be on the lookout! Also, see post above for information about Valentine’s day. This letter is also on the back of the paper newsletter that was sent home this week. 🙂
Additionally, please check your child’s agenda this week for a note regarding missing school supplies. Have a great week! We’re almost to break!
Forgive me for not posting newsletters the first two weeks of the quarter… getting back into the swing of things AND snow really messed me up!
Welcome back! Looking forward to an awesome second half of the year! 🙂
Be on the lookout for an email with important dates for December and information about our upcoming holiday party!
Parents- please check with your child to make sure that they have scissors at school. We have many pairs missing at the moment and I’m running out of extras to loan out!!!! Thanks!
We have had two field trips recently and I wanted to share some of the fun we had!!!!
We so enjoyed our trip down the road to Vulcan! We learned all about the cool stuff (like explosions!!!!) that they do in their rock quarry!
The quarry was so beautiful!!!
Kaylie shows me a beautiful geode that she found while looking at the rock displays.
I should have specified that I wanted a NORMAL picture first…
Colonial Life In-School Field Trip
Later this year we’ll be learning all about the 13 colonies. As a pre-learning treat, the Bartow County Library came out to show us what life was like in the colonies! Specifically, we got to play with TOYS that kids in the colonies would have played with too!!!!!
Our presenter even wore colonial clothing!!!
Maura loved playing with the cup and ball toy!
Malachi and Calvin loved playing with the Jacob’s ladders!
Ayezah used her best aim to get the clothespin in the milk jug!
Christian got several tops going at once!
Our field trip today was AWESOME!!!! I didn’t get a chance to send homework home (sorry- crazy day!!!!) so I will make it light this week when I pass it out tomorrow 🙂
