STEM Lab – Ms. Branham

Eastvalley Elementary STEM

4th Grade

4th graders are experienced with the EDP and can go into greater depth with problem solving than in years past. It is so fascinating to see how each team of students takes a unique approach to solving the same problem that they are presented with. They have achieved a greater understanding of how important it is to work with all teammates to solve a problem, rather than just pairing up with their friends. In the pics below, students are creating an interactive moon box that teaches the moon phases. They had measurement requirements and a list of criteria and constraints to meet for this challenge.
