Practice for the freshman team will be @ 11:00 on Jan.4, 2012.

Week of Aug 29-Sept.1

Blocks 2 & 3

Students in the intro level class will continue to learn the foundation of using a camera and shooting techniques. Each student should have an understanding of the three shots that make up shot composition, W.A.L.L.D.O & the 5 broadcasting shooting angles. The current project will be to create an unedited movie with the W.A.L.L.D.O. shots.

Blocks 1& 4

Students will continue to prepare for the airing of upcoming shows of Sprayberry News, Yellowjacket ENT, & Sprayberry Sports Nation. The upper level students have worked hard the first two weeks of school preparing and practicing to produce the best product as possible for Sprayberry High School and the community.

Parents if you have any questions please have your student contact me thru the Schoology site. Parents can also join the Schoology group as well to keep up with assignments in the class.

Welcome Back

Welcome back to school. I am looking forward to a great 2011-2012 school year. Our goals in the broadcasting class is to continue to improve on the foundation that has been established over the past two years. We will strive to delivery quality news, sports, & entertainment shows for everyone to enjoy.

If you are new to the broadcasting class welcome aboard you will have the opportunity to learn how to operate cameras, create projects through nonlinear editing & how to operate a TV studio. Please check back here for updates on class events and announcements.
